David Vorp, PhD
Co-founder & Chief Scientific Officer
Dr. Vorp is the Chief Scientific Officer and co-founder of Aneurisk, where he provides scientific leadership in the development of research and clinical tools for aneurysm behavior analysis. He is one of the original pioneers of biomechanical modeling of arterial aneurysms and has spent over three decades refining methods to analyze wall stress and rupture potential.
Dr. Vorp is the John A. Swanson Professor of Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh and a widely published academic with over 85 peer-reviewed publications and more than 18,000 citations. His foundational research serves as the scientific bedrock of Aneurisk’s predictive technology.
He received his Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh and continues to mentor students and lead research at the intersection of biomechanics, vascular disease, and translational technology.
