Timothy Chung, PhD
Co-founder & Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Chung is the Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Aneurisk, where he leads the development of diagnostic and predictive software for arterial aneurysm management. He directs all aspects of technology research, product development, and software validation, and is responsible for maintaining Aneurisk’s intellectual property portfolio. His work integrates machine learning with vascular biomechanics to develop tools that provide personalized clinical insights.
In addition to his role at Aneurisk, Dr. Chung holds a faculty appointment as a Research Assistant Professor of Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh’s Swanson School of Engineering. His academic research and technical expertise have been central to translating decades of aneurysm research into clinical decision-support tools.

Dr. Chung received his Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Iowa and has secured multiple federal and regional grants to support the development and commercialization of advanced medical software.​
